When I was looking for a car at canadatrader website I wrote to about ten people that I am interested in buying their car.First at all I got a respond for selling Lexus GS 430 2001.
About five days ago (May 15) I made a deal with Kelly Preston in buying her car (Lexus GS 430 2001).She said that before leaving to UK she had prearranged the deal with eBay Motors so her presence isn't necessary. And that the car is in their possession in Canada, ready to be delivered.
In my first email from "ebay" it say that eBay Motors member Kelly Preston, as the Seller, initiated a new transaction through eBay Motors Vehicle Purchase Protection program and registered you, Andrey Gubin, as the Buyer.
Than I got an another email from "ebay", that to complete this deal I need to make the payment through MoneyGram, and the money goes to ebay's motor agent and the money is not going to the seller until we have seen and test the car and we are ready to buy it. I had also sent the payment reciept to ebay's motor fax as they asked. Four days ago I got another email from ebay that they received my payment details and they will contact me with all the details about the shipping in maximum 24 hours(after they will verify the payment). But I still did not get any email from them.I sent them that I am still waiting for the shipping details but they did not answer me.A few days after I got an emails from other people I wrote to, the way of writing was the same in every email, and only details about the car were change and all of them wanted to make the transaction through a third company.
Now I understand that all this transaction was fake, after I lost my money , I have called to Moneygram and they told me that person who got my money was Edward McCone who lives in Slough United Kingdom but he received the money in another town (Moneygram has the all information) . So I think that it is his real name and he lives in Slough UK, if his ID is not fake.
Is there any way to get my money back or even find this person and punish him?
