Description:	I would like to do a background/fraud check against someone. I am concerned for someone that I care about and I am not on talking terms because of this person I want to do a background check on. The person I am concerned about is a woman. We talked for 6 months online and on the phone but we never met in person. Then one day I got pushed to the side because this woman's man is too jealous and possive. I lost a friend that meant something to me because of this. He started making threats and sending me nasty messages/e-mails. He made threats he was going to send me to jail and beat my face in. I have the ones he left on my phone. I tried working things out in a peaceful manner but that didn't do a dang thing. They did a background check on me without probable cause which I didn't do anything wrong in the first place in my opinion. I had a prior restraining order but that ran out a few years ago but that is another story in its self. They both live in Manhattan Kansas. I know where they live. I know where she works. I have her work and yahoo emails. I have his work email. I have a good idea what she looks like but I don't know what he looks like. I know he is from Colorado. I have already file a complaint with this website but they can not do anything about it. I have filed a complaint with the fbi and I am going to go to the kbi. I am going to file a complaint with the licensing authority in Kansas. The sad part is the person I am doing a background check is an private investigator. That makes all the other investigators on here look bad even if they are good investigators. I think he is misusing his power to protect his interests. I think he is hiding something. Some of the things he has done don't add up. I think he cheated on her but I have no proof. He used to live in Junction City Kansas. He would call her from Springfield Missouri and not spend time with her or when she was on vacation. That is a long drive from Junction City to Springfield. Things just do not add up. He moved in with her and started this conflict with me for no reason. I do not mean any harm to them. The only thing I did wrong was come off too strong. They say they got married but I know that is not true because she was in the middle of a divorce at the time. Besides you have to wait to get remarried at least 30 days after a divorce is granted. She filed for one but that does not mean it was granted right away in the state of Kansas. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Additional Info (Added 9/30/2005 17:27)... I filed a report to the local authorities. I am going to talk to a detective when I get a chance. I am going to file a complaint with the kbi. I am going to press charges. What this person did was do a background check without consent and that is illegal and practicing his work without a licence is also illegal. I dont think he has a license to pratice in Kansas. The kbi told me about that informations. He has to have a license in each state he practices in. He also sent me threats with his women's phone. I might be looking for a attractive female decoy to see if he will stray because I think he cheated on her or still is cheatingon her and she don't know it. I dont know what he looks like but I am sure he is attractive looking. I know he is 29 years old and 6'1" tall. I think he is my size or bigger. Am I allowed to put his handle on here? His company is based in Newburg Indiana. I called the number of the company and I get somesort of weird noise like a modem noise then dead silence. I got the mailing address too. He has threatened to put me in jail and he can't because only law enforcement can do that. I know what he sounds like. I got some good news from the kbi. They think this private investigator isnt what he claims to be. They think he stole a badge and is imposing as a pi. The company supposedly he worked for wants to prosecute him too. They think he has been doing this for a while. He might is practicing without a licnese even if he is a pi.
